Getting to Krause Springs
From Austin, take Texas Highway 71 west for about 30 miles. After crossing the Pedernales River, drive another 7 miles and turn right onto Spur 191. Continue on Spur 191 until you reach County Road 404, then turn right. You'll find the gates to Krause Springs on the left.
There are clear signs along the way, and parking is available once you arrive. The entrance is a short walk from the parking area, but be sure to bring cash for the entrance fee, as cards aren’t accepted. The scenic drive through Texas Hill Country adds to the experience, making it an ideal spot for a day trip or a weekend getaway.
